Distance Learning Challenges in Translation Teaching: Mediation Competence Development

In recent years the COVID pandemic has influenced education significantly. The pace of digital transformation is very fast and requires a change mindset. Translators or cross-language mediators have to work at focal point various information transfer processes. We think that mindset future translator can be created by re-contextualising classroom communication reality with online teaching tools will ensure synchronous asynchronous studies. challenges resources variety responded classifying them according L2 communicative competence translation structural components. Thus choice sources narrowed down specific objectives. research proposes classification for mediation development which component CEFR. Classification categories include help develop (1) skills mediating concepts, texts, communication; (2) strategies explaining new concepts text simplification. used out few sample activities an course within curriculum. It assumed teachers more flexible facing distance learning in teaching.
